Stand-up Forklift operator - New Albany

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Stand-up Forklift operator to work with a leading company in the logistics sector in New Albany. This role involves moving materials throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Shift patterns

• Mon - Fri 4pm - 12:45am
• Must arrive 30 minutes before shift

Pay rates

• 19.00 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for Stand-up Forklift operator

• Knowledge of Logistical Supply Chain methods and inventory control with previous Forklift experience
• Experience with pallet wrap machines, reach trucks, cherry pickers and other material handling equipment
• Ability to read and understand orders and count different products stored in different areas and layers
• Must be able to work a full-time but flexible schedule
• Must have dependable transportation to and from job site
• Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift when necessary

Role for Stand-up Forklift operator

• Safely operate industrial trucks or machinery in an industrial location
• Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move product through facility ensuring timely and accurate delivery
• Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids and boxes
• Account for and secure materials or products for transport to designated areas
• Control levers and other operating devices, such as forks and hoists, to load, transport and stack materials
• Complete all requisitions with prompt, efficient and safe outcomes
